Happy Friday, Colorado Springs! Fall is settling in across the Pikes Peak region, the aspens are starting to turn, and this weekend is absolutely packed with things to do. From a legendary Motown act at Ford Amphitheater to harvest festivals, a stadium show from Bruno Mars, and family fun at Garden of the Gods, there is truly something for everyone. Grab your favorite fall sweater and let’s get into it.

The Commodores Live at Ford Amphitheater

Kick off the weekend with a Motown legend. The Commodores bring their catalog of hits, including “Brick House” and “Easy,” to the stage at Ford Amphitheater for a night of soul and celebration. This is a great pick for an easy Friday night out.

The Long Run, Colorado’s Tribute to the Eagles

Stargazers Theatre hosts this beloved Eagles tribute band for an evening of classic California rock. Expect the soaring harmonies and hits you grew up with, from “Hotel California” to “Take It Easy,” in an intimate theater setting with a full bar available.

5th Annual Falcon Harvest Festival

Head north to Falcon for one of the community’s favorite fall traditions. This festival brings together more than 140 local vendors, about 15 food trucks, live music, and plenty of kid friendly fun including bounce houses, face painting, and a fall photo booth.

McAllister House Museum Harvest Festival

This one is extra special. The McAllister House Museum is celebrating its 65th anniversary with a community harvest festival featuring more than 25 local partners, live jazz from the Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society, a vintage car showcase, and even a visit from Dennis the Emu.

Village Moms Craft Fair

More than 50 local vendors will fill Leonard Hall with handcrafted jewelry, home goods, holiday decor, and fair trade finds. There is also a homemade bake sale with proceeds benefiting Village Moms, a local organization that supports mothers of young children.

Tucked into the mountain town of Green Mountain Falls, this market blends farm fresh produce and baked goods with fine art from the Auric Gallery. A guided art walk runs from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM for anyone who wants a deeper look at the featured pieces.

Harvest Hootenanny at Venetucci Farm

Celebrate the end of summer in the you pick flower fields. Cut your own blooms, sip coffee, browse artisan vendors, listen to live music, and pick up pumpkins for the season while you are there.

Rock’n The Mesa

This free community concert brings three tribute and cover bands to Gold Hill Mesa for an afternoon of classic rock favorites. Bring a chair or blanket, grab some food from the vendors on site, and enjoy live music with the whole family.

Colorado Springs Philharmonic Presents Scheherazade

The Philharmonic opens its Centennial Season with a program that spans from a brand new commissioned piece inspired by birds in flight, to Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, to the sweeping storytelling of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. It is a beautiful night for anyone who loves live orchestral music.

Bruno Mars, The Romantic Tour

Tough Mudder Colorado 2026

The SpongeBob Musical, Final Weekend

Catch the last performances of this high energy, family friendly production before it closes. Discovery Canyon Campus students bring SpongeBob SquarePants and his fishy friends to life as they try to save Bikini Bottom from a volcanic eruption. A fun outing for kids and SpongeBob fans of any age.

Whooo’s in the Park? The Owls of the Garden of the Gods

A perfect Sunday outing for curious kids and nature lovers. This indoor program dives into the owl species that call the Garden of the Gods home, including a look at owl behavior, habitat, and even an owl pellet dissection. All ages are welcome with adult supervision.

Rainbow Falls Restoration Day

For anyone who wants to give back to the community this weekend, join El Paso County Parks for a creek clean up at the historic Rainbow Falls site in Manitou Springs. Volunteers will help remove trash and noxious weeds from this beloved landmark. Open to ages 12 and up, with all supplies provided.
