From the Honor Guard to Your Front Door
My name is Dan Hayes, and I served 11 years on active duty in the United States Air Force. I started my career in the Presidential Honor Guard - the unit that represents our nation at Arlington National Cemetery and the White House. From there, I became a C-130 slick loadmaster, then a C-130 flight engineer. I'm a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross for actions in Iraq.
My active duty career ended due to heart complications. I'm a disabled veteran, and I live with PTSD. I don't say that for sympathy - I say it because I want you to know that I understand what military families go through. The moves, the uncertainty, the stress of starting over in a new place. I've lived it.

After those experiences, I made a promise: no family would go through what mine did if I could help it. I got my real estate license, earned my Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification, and built Hayes Property Group with my wife Elizabeth.
As someone who's used the VA loan multiple times myself, I don't just understand the paperwork - I understand the real-world implications. I know what it's like to PCS with a family, to house-hunt from across the country, and to need an agent who actually picks up the phone.
More Than Real Estate
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management and Project Management, and I currently serve as a GS Civilian Contracting Officer for the United States Space Force. That attention to detail and process management carries directly into how I handle real estate transactions.
On top of that, I own Maple Trails Woodworking - a custom woodworking business specializing in signs, furniture, and CNC/laser work. The same craftsmanship and precision I bring to a piece of furniture, I bring to every listing, every negotiation, and every closing.
